TELONE™ by Teleos orchard applications are underway in California. Growers across the state rely on TELONE™ to help manage nematodes and prunus replant disease.
Prepping the soil with TELONE™ creates a zone of protection so plant roots can establish with more efficient uptake of water and nutrients and less need for other inputs. The result is healthier trees with increased trunk diameters, larger canopies, and improved quality and yields.

Earlier this week our southeast TELONE™ Specialist at Teleos Chris Hays participated in the GA-FL Tobacco Caravan Tour. The group explored 11 tobacco farms and Extension on-farm research plots in Georgia’s tobacco production regions, including stops in Hazlehurst and Metter, Georgia.
Chris shared, "We had valuable conversations about the everyday challenges growers face, shifting crop trends, and the adoption of new varieties and practices. Overall, crops looked strong, though a few farms have faced setbacks from recent weather events. TELONE™ by Teleos soil fumigant continues to stand out as one of the most trusted tools growers rely on for a successful season.
Special thanks to Dr. J. Michael Moore for his outstanding coordination and leadership throughout the tour. His dedication to Georgia’s tobacco program and the growers it supports made this event both productive and enjoyable. Best wishes to all the growers with harvesting right around the corner."

Strawberries are grown extensively in California, Florida, and North Carolina, but nematodes present significant challenges in all three regions, impacting yields and fruit quality.
The presence of foliar and northern root-knot nematodes can lead to significant plant stress, ultimately lowering yields in strawberry crops. Controlling these nematodes at the nursery level is essential to prevent their spread throughout strawberry fields. Infested nursery stock can not only spread these pests but may also lose certification, severely impacting the economic value of the planting stock.

Nematodes are a common pest in potato-growing areas, particularly in the Pacific Northwest. They are typically found in coarse-textured, sandy soils. The two most common nematode species are Meloidogyne chitwoodi (Columbia root-knot nematode) and Meloidogyne hapla (northern root-knot nematode).
Above-ground symptoms can range from stunted growth and wilting under moisture stress, accompanied by distinct galls on potato tubers, ultimately affecting marketable yields.
Using TELONE™ by Teleos soil fumigant to prep the soil ahead of planting creates a zone of protection, allowing delicate roots to establish into healthy potatoes. Using TELONE™ in combination with chloropicrin also helps suppress many soilborne diseases that affect potatoes, including verticillium, common scab, rhizoctonia, fusarium, pythium, and more!

Teleos Ag's new carrot-specific crop page to learn more about the nematodes affecting carrots, and how TELONE™ can set you up for a successful season. Nematodes damage carrots by feeding on the roots, causing galls and misshapen roots, which render the crop unmarketable.
By fumigating the soil with TELONE™, growers create a protective zone around the roots, allowing the carrot plants to establish healthy and extensive root systems free from nematode damage.
