Josh Freeman on Grafted Plants vs. Fusarium

Josh Freeman was able to see both sides of the coin on the same farm yesterday. On a positive note, the grafted plants really took off this week and are now larger than the non-grafted. On the negative side, conditions have been favorable and we’re seeing Fusarium wilt less than 30 days post planting. Certainly not a positive start for the non-grafted plants so early in the season.
